COMMENT

This is where you can log any comment which you would like to attach to this contact. The field will allow you to log 40 characters. If this should not be sufficient you can activate the notepad facilties and store more retrievable information there. The comment field does not belong to the QSO essentials. This means there is no check on data integrity while the QSO is logged.

Like all other fields the comment field can be customized on the loginput line. All features described for customizing the loginput line apply for this field including the commands available and search operations ( keyword search, quick search) in particular.

With respect to the field properties the comment field is equipped with a stack by default. Of course you can define an input stack and preferably use the Advanced stack for this purpose. It is a good idea to store a number of text modules there which you frequently use to log within the QSO record, e-g qsx+1.00K, up 5.00K, or the like. Additional text can be appended but requires to press the Shift key up and down before you start editing.

The content of the stack will pop up directly below the comment field on pressing Shft+Cursor+Down followed by Enter. If you want to load into the comment field you just select the line of interest by mouse or by pressing Cursor+Down.
